Q Attorney Profile

William Craig King is an associate at The Manely Firm, P.C., where he focuses his practice exclusively on family law matters. Working out of the firm\'s offices in Marietta, Georgia, he provides representation to clients throughout the state. Mr. King has been admitted to practice in Georgia since 2016.

A significant portion of Mr. King\'s client base comprises people who are seeing their marriages coming to an end and who are thus having to deal with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex assets and debts, child custody and visitation, and spousal and child support. He is a forceful courtroom advocate for his clients when negotiations have proven to be fruitless and litigation has become necessary. Mr. King has also helped people whose marriages have already been legally dissolved and who are now seeking the enforcement of or modifications to existing court orders. Mr. King has international family law experience as well, including working on custody cases that are governed by the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and that have involved Mexico, Germany, France and several other countries. Prior to becoming an associate at The Manely Firm, P.C., he worked there in various capacities as a student intern, paralegal, secretary and clerk.

As an undergraduate, Mr. King attended Reinhardt University, where he majored in history and received a Bachelor of Arts magna cum laude in 2011. He subsequently went on to pursue his legal education at Georgia State University College of Law, and in 2016, he was awarded his Juris Doctor cum laude. In addition to his normal caseload, Mr. King participates in his firm\'s Justice Cafe, which is an initiative that offers low-cost legal services to people who cannot afford to pay regular fees but who do not qualify for pro bono representation.
