Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Mr. Snyder spent high school years in Lincoln, Illinois, and graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, in 1967 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Upon graduation from Bradley, Mr. Snyder was commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Air Force, where he eventually rose to the rank of captain, worked in the field of logistics, and received the Air Force Commendation Medal for Outstanding Management Ability.

Following his four years in the military, Mr. Snyder attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, obtaining his Juris Doctor, with honors, in 1973. While in law school, Mr. Snyder served as Executive Editor for the school\'s law review, and in 1974, The Florida Bar admitted him to practice.

Certified as a civil trial lawyer (from 1985 to 2015) by the Florida Bar Board of Certification, Mr. Snyder has achieved notable success fighting on behalf of the rights and best interests of his clients. Along with securing millions of dollars for his plaintiff clients in numerous liability lawsuits, he has handled some of Florida\'s complex and well known estate litigation cases. In recognition for his high ethical standards and exceptional customer service, Mr. Snyder has received several awards and honors, and he holds an AV Preeminent peerreview rating* from Martindale-Hubbell.

Fully committed to his practice, Mr. Snyder is active in a number of professional legal associations. He was the founding president of the Sarasota County Bar Association (SCBA) South County Division (SCD) and is a Past President of The Judge John M. Scheb American Inn of Court in Sarasota. He is also a member of The Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section and the former chair of the 12th Judicial Circuit Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) Committee. Mr. Snyder also chairs the group of longtime Sarasota lawyers called Senior Counsel of Sarasota County.
