Attorney Stuart Reiser is a partner with the Hackensack, New Jersey, law firm of Shapiro, Croland, Reiser, Apfel & Di Iorio, LLP. At the firm, Mr. Reiser concentrates his practice on complex commercial litigation, municipal and local government law, real estate and commercial transactions, probate litigation and entertainment law.

Licensed to practice in New York and New Jersey and certified as a civil trial attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court, Mr. Reiser provides exceptional legal service and counsel to commercial clients and local government entities with matters related to contracts, environmental law, intellectual property, land use and zoning, municipal matters, partnerships/shareholder disputes and many other related areas.

A 1977 cum laude graduate of Rutgers, Mr. Reiser obtained his Juris Doctor from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1980. That same year, the New Jersey State Bar Association admitted him to practice, and in 1981, he received his license from the New York State Bar Association.

He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Jersey and the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, as well as before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the 2nd and 3rd Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Along with being an effective litigator, Mr. Reiser has an extensive amount of training and experience in mediation and arbitration. He has held a number of court appointments and served as a special fiscal agent, administrator, fiduciary, provisional director, guardian ad litem and more.

Widely recognized as one of the top attorneys in the region, Mr. Reiser holds an AV Preeminent peer review rating* from Martindale-Hubbell, and he is a fellow with the Litigation Counsel of America.
