As an attorney with the law firm Meriwether & Tharp LLC, Robin K. Love serves clients in Alpharetta, the Atlanta metropolitan area, and throughout the state of Georgia. In the area of family law, she focuses her attention on cases involving divorce, particularly issues involving property division, alimony, child support and custody.

Ms. Love earned her law degree at Atlanta\'s John Marshall Law School. As a law student, she served on the staff of the law review and participated on the mock trial team. She also worked as an intern with the Cobb County District Attorney’s Office and the DeKalb County: Public Defender’s Office. Prior to attending law school, she studied at Northeast Alabama Community College and earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Before joining Meriwether & Tharp LLC, Ms. Love practiced law with a Georgia complex commercial law firm, where she was able to participate in a wide variety of business and contract cases and represent clients both in the courtroom and through motion pleadings.

In addition to her skills in traditional litigation, Ms. Love is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation. Since 2011, she has been registered with the Georgia Commission on Dispute Resolution as a certified civil mediator. Ms. Love is also a certified Domestic Relations Mediator.

Active in professional organizations, Ms. Love is a member of the American Bar Association and the Forsyth County Bar Association. She has also been active with the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers. In 2014, Ms. Love gave a presentation at the National Business Institute Seminar focused on reading and interpreting financial documents.  In 2018, Ms. Love gave a presentation on child support issues with military parties at the National Business Institute.
