Mecca Anderson

Mecca Anderson is an attorney with The Cochran Firm Atlanta who handles cases of premises liability and personal injury. She represents clients in the Atlanta metropolitan area and has almost a decade of experience advocating for the rights of the injured. Through her time spent working with the Supreme Court of Georgia as a clerk, as a Chief of Staff and as a judicial intern, she earned a unique skill set that makes her an ideal choice for anyone suffering from a personal injury.

A leader in the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys’ Professional Development Academy, she was selected in 2017 as a member of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association’s LEAD Program. Ms. Anderson focuses her work on cases involving truck accidents, brain injuries, auto accidents, negligent security, breaches of civil rights and medical malpractice.

A graduate of Valparaiso University Law School, Ms. Anderson earned her Juris Doctor in 2011. She is admitted to practice in the state of Georgia and has earned a $20 million settlement during her time with the firm. She is also a talented speaker and has presented to the Junior League of Atlanta and the Atlanta Mission. Passionate about empowering communities and advocating for women and children, she is Dean of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys.

Ms. Anderson began her career with a firm that is known for its appellate and trial experience. Since joining the firm, she now brings her commitment and experience to protecting the best interests of the injured and their families.
