Matthew J. Hollingsworth is the founding partner of Hollingsworth Injury Law, LLC, who handles personal injury cases for clients in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Within the personal injury umbrella, he focuses on cases involving automobile collisions, medical malpractice, premises liability, dog bites, slip and falls, tractor-trailer collisions and catastrophic injuries. He also has extensive experience handling commercial truck and bus crashes, wrongful death claims, and negligent security matters. This background has prepared him with the ability to fight aggressively and strategically for accident victims and their families.
In 2010, Mr. Hollingsworth graduated from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a major in economics. With a focus on civil procedure, evidence and trial advocacy, he then obtained his Juris Doctor from the Dickinson School of Law at The Pennsylvania State University.
Mr. Hollingsworth is also an active member of the State Bar of Georgia and the Atlanta Bar Association. His memberships include the Young Lawyers Division Community Service Projects Committee, the YLD Legislative Affairs Committee and the YLD Litigation Committee. He is also a member of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution sections of the Atlanta Bar Association, the Atlanta Council of Younger Lawyers and the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. He works to help other lawyers get involved as a member of the Atlanta Bar Association\'s Wellness Committee and Membership Action Committee.
Mr. Hollingsworth actively works to give back to his community through service to several organizations. He serves as a board member of the Berkeley Park Neighborhood Association and he spent years working with the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Habitat for Humanity in Georgia and Pennsylvania. He also provides pro bono legal services on behalf of the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation.
