Q Attorney Profile

Jeanette Soltys is the managing attorney of Atlanta Divorce Law Group. Ms. Soltys has more than a decade of experience representing clients in domestic and family law matters. She serves individuals and families from all the firm’s office locations throughout the metropolitan Atlanta region.

Ms. Soltys handles cases involving all types of family law issues including divorce, child custody, adoption, child support, division of assets, fathers’ rights, grandparents’ rights, marital agreements, mothers’ rights, spousal support and separation agreements. She is passionate about helping children and families and provides personal attention and compassionate, yet aggressive, representation to each of her clients.

Ms. Soltys earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and received her law degree from Wake Forest School of Law. While attending law school, she successfully advocated for the public to attend weekend hearings in the Municipal Court of Atlanta. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution noted her efforts.

Before becoming a licensed attorney, Ms. Soltys worked as a high school teacher. Upon graduating from law school and receiving her license to practice law, she worked for the Georgia Division of Family and Children Services and handled abuse and neglect cases. This role allowed her to cultivate her litigation skills and spent a great deal of time in the courtroom handling complex child custody matters.

Active in her legal community, Ms. Soltys belongs to various professional organizations. She is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, the State Bar of Georgia and the American Bar Association. She is a former speaker at continuing legal education courses for the Atlanta Bar Association and the National Business Institute.
