A partner at the law firm of Feldman Shepherd Wohlgelernter Tanner Weinstock Dodig LLP, G. Scott Vezina is an experienced civil litigator who represents clients throughout the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. Mr. Vezina\'s law practice is focused in the area of plaintiff personal injury law. This includes general personal injury matters, medical malpractice, aviation accidents and aerospace cases.
Mr. Vezina graduated with his Juris Doctor from the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Holy Cross, from which he graduated in 1997. Following law school, Mr. Vezina was admitted to practice law in Louisiana in 1997. Later, he was also admitted to practice law in Florida, Texas, Missouri and Pennsylvania. He is admitted to practice pro hac vice in a number of other states.
Working as co-counsel on a number of cases, Mr. Vezina has secured seven- and eight-figure settlements on behalf of multiple clients. In one matter, he won a verdict of $78.5 million for the family of a child who suffered a brain injury and cerebral palsy as a result of medical malpractice. This verdict was the largest medical malpractice award at the time in Pennsylvania, and Mr. Vezina has recovered numerous other large verdicts and settlements for his clients during his career.
Mr. Vezina is well-recognized by his peers and his clients for the strength of his work. He is rated as AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell, which is the highest peer review rating that is awarded by the organization. Mr. Vezina is actively involved in multiple legal organizations. His memberships include the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, and bar associations for the U.S., Pennsylvania, Missouri, Texas and Florida. Mr. Vezina is also a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
