Ms. Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Union College in 1979, and she began her professional career as a plant engineer. After several years in engineering, she decided to further her education. In 1996, she earned her law degree from Georgia State University College of Law, and the State Bar of Georgia granted her admission early the following year.

In the nearly 20 years that have passed since she began her legal career, Ms. Thomas has established a reputation as a dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced family law attorney, as evidenced by her \"Very Good\" rating from Avvo.
