Ashley Taryn Carlile

As partner at Grisham & Poole, P.C., Ashley Taryn Carlile represents clients in Pickens, Cherokee, Bartow, Gilmer and Cobb counties in Georgia. Her focus is on family law, including issues of child support, child custody, divorce and legitimation. After representing the Division of Family and Children Services, she has extensive experience in child welfare law and serves in various counties as a guardian ad litem in cases of child custody.

In 2016, the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce awarded Ms. Carlile the Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals Under 40 award, and the same year, she was named in The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 under 40. She was also named one of the Top 10 Best Family Law Attorneys by the organization, and she is currently a member of the Blue Ridge Chapter of the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers and a former president, vice president and secretary of the Blue Ridge Bar Association.

Ms. Carlile graduated from Kennesaw State University with a political science degree in 2006. At the Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School, she obtained her Juris Doctor and was given the Leadership Achievement Award. She is admitted to practice in Georgia and Colorado.
